There are few places in the world that can manage to silence and put in awe such a seasoned adventurer. Robinson Creek, however, is one of those such locations. However short, the narrows of Robinson Creek are some of the best in the world. It features about 6 drops or so, including the infamous drop into “The Cavern,” an outstanding alcove that has been incised deep into the rock over countless years. The result is a dark and surreal cave that feels more like caving than canyoning, dropping around 25 meters. Access to this canyon is simple, requiring a short 15-20 minutes hike. Technically it is also straightforward, with well placed bolts the entire route. Expect to spend 2-3 hours in the canyon, most of the time sitting in awe of the cavern.
